With support from various stakeholders, the company, which began its journey as a small entity, continues to grow steadily this year. 2024

  • Total assets reached IDR 2.1 trillion

  • Completed the merger of Universal BPR Group (Jabodetabek, West Kalimantan, Riau & Jambi)

  • Held the Universal Siboro Golf Charity Tournament (USGCT) at Damai Indah Golf BSD, raising Rp800 million for the PARSIBO Social Fund.

  • Launched the first episode of Universal Talks featuring Prof. Rhenald Kasali dan Roberto Akyuwen.

  • Released Universal Talks Episode 2 with Dr. Indrawan Nugroho

  • Hosted Universal Bonanza 2024, which inclued : The Universal Arisan Savings Batch 1 grand prize draw, The launch of Kaia, Universal BPR's Official Mascot, and The Celebration of Universal BPR's 21st anniversary.

  • Received an award from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for BPR/S category in “Strengthening Structure and Competitiveness.”

  • Received a Compliance Award from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for timely contributions and accurate data reporting.

  • Three entities entered “Top 100 BPR The Finance 2024”: Universal BPR – South Tangerang, Universal BPR Kalbar – Pontianak, and Universal BPR Karya Mandiri Riau – Pekanbaru

  • Kaman Siboro, President Commissioner of Universal BPR, received The Finance Special Award for “The Best Leader in BPR Digital Transformation.”

2023

  • Total assets reached Rp1.5 trillion.

  • Expanded service with new offices in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Depok, and Siantan under the Universal BPR Kalimantan Barat Group.

  • Introduced Universal Mobile after obtaining a Payment Service Provider (PJP 1) license from Central Bank of Indonesia.

  • Successfully distributed over 30,000 food packages through the Deposito Peduli program.

  • Organized the Universal Matius Golf Charity Tournament at Bogor Raya Golf Club, raising Rp365 million in donations for the construction of the Pastoral Building at St. Matthew the Evangelist Church in Bintaro.

  • Received the Stellar Workplace Recognition from the 2023 Stellar Workplace Awards for outstanding employee engagement and satisfaction.

  • Achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for Information Security Management Systems.

2022

  • Total assets reached IDR 1.2 trillion.

  • Officially opened the Tangerang Office, introducing the Community Hub concept.

  • Acquired 2,196 m² of land for the planned development of Universal Tower in CBD Bintaro Jaya.

  • Hosted the Universal Santa Maria Regina Golf Charity Tournament at Sentul Highlands Golf Club. Together with the DEBUTS Sanmare program, the event successfully raised Rp727 million in donations for the Santa Maria Regina Church.

2021

  • Total Assets have reached Rp843 Billion.

  • Officially inaugurated the Bekasi Mas Branch Office and Bogor Branch Office.

  • Partnered with Prof. Rhenald Kasali, Ph.D. as Brand Ambassador.

  • Appointed Dunamis as a Human Capital Development Consultant.

  • Launched the Relationship Manager Development Program (RMDP) and Funding Officer Development Program (FODP).

  • Distributed a total of 7,305 food aid packages to the community.

  • Launched the Account Manager Trainee Program (AMTP) in collaboration with the Indonesia Institute of Management.

2020

  • Total Assets have reached Rp463 Billion.

  • Established the BSD Office and Tambun City Office.

  • Launched Deposito Peduli (a donation-linked deposit product) and distributed over 5,000 staple food packages.

  • Expanded into the SME credit segment.

  • Actively served as lead arranger for syndicated loans.

2018

  • Total Aset have reached Rp331 Billion.

  • Introduced a new brand identity with the logo and tagline "Cepat, Aman, Peduli (CAP)".

  • Launched Tabungan Universal SuperMan (Prize-Linked Savings Product)

  • Introduced U-Crop (Universal Customer Relationship Officer Program)

  • Universal BPR Group successfully received the ‘Infobank Award 2018’ with the ‘Excellent’ rating.

2016

  • Total assets have reached Rp268 Billion

  • The Head Office is relocated to Emerald Avenue Bintaro Jaya

  • Launched Universal Banker Development Program (Management Trainee) Batch 1

2010

  • Total assets have reached Rp51 Billion

  • Expanded operations with three service offices, located in Cibinong, Bintaro, and Tangerang.

2003

  • Universal BPR's total assets have reached Rp4 Billion.

  • Kaman Siboro and Stephen Satyahadi established the Universal BPR group.

  • Established its first branch office under PT. BPR Universal Karya Mandiri Cibinong
