Jakarta, June 27, 2026 – Universal BPR officially opened its new branch in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, marking a strategic step to expand its service network and improve access to banking services for individuals and businesses.
Carrying the theme "Where Growth Meets Opportunity," the new branch reflects Universal BPR's commitment to creating new opportunities for customers, business partners, and the wider community through accessible, innovative, and customer-centric banking services.
The inauguration began with a blessing ceremony led by Father Bernardus Hardijantan Dermawan, Pr., as an expression of gratitude for the opening of the new branch. The ceremony symbolized the hope that Universal BPR's presence in Kelapa Gading would bring lasting value to the community while supporting economic growth in North Jakarta.
The celebration continued with a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Reyhan Satyahadi, President Director of Universal BPR, together with Igor Siboro, Director of Universal BPR, officially marking the commencement of operations at the Kelapa Gading Branch.
In his remarks, Kaman Siboro, President Commissioner of Universal BPR, stated that the opening of the new branch represents an important milestone in the bank's journey. According to him, the new branch is not only part of the company's expansion strategy but also reflects Universal BPR's ongoing commitment to strengthening public trust through quality service, integrity, and a customer-focused approach.
"For us, this office is more than just a new building. It symbolizes hope, commitment, and responsibility to provide even better service to the community. With the inauguration of the Kelapa Gading Branch, the bank now operates 13 branch offices across Jakarta, West Java, Banten, Kalimantan, Jambi, and Riau, reinforcing its commitment to providing banking services that are closer, more accessible, and better suited to the needs of local communities and businesses.
This expansion is supported by the bank's solid financial performance. As of the end of 2025, Universal BPR recorded total assets of IDR 2.292 trillion and net profit of IDR 35.913 billion.
In terms of profitability, the bank achieved a Return on Equity (ROE) of 21.19%, while maintaining healthy asset quality with a Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio of 3.93%, well below the regulatory threshold of 5%. These achievements reflect Universal BPR's consistent implementation of prudent banking practices, strong corporate governance, and sustainable business growth.
